Nani' Ishto' Pakali' Pendant, Gold Brass and Black Spinel

Translating to "Shark Flower" in Chickasaw, these strange pieces came about rather by accident. Exact models of real shark's teeth make the petals surrounding the rose cut stone, nestled in it's textured bezel setting. Lately every dream I have is filled with snakes and especially sharks, the balance keepers of the ocean, the sacred clean up crew, upholding the highest in independence, adaptability and absolute survival.
